Global Learning Access (GLA) had proven its model was effective on a small scale for delivering educational devices to disadvantaged children around the world, but meeting the global demand for devices was financially crippling the organization. Every new fundraising campaign barely covered the cost of purchasing, warehousing, and shipping the next small batch of tablets. David needed non-monetary partnerships—excess inventory and free logistical support—but traditional networking and cold outreach to major corporations yielded slow or misaligned results.
